ROCHESTER, Minn.- A recent donation could make things a little smoother for Mayo Clinic patients.
While celebrating 150 years, the Mayo Clinic has setup an account to help patients with things other than medical bills. This includes hotel expenses, gas, etc. Friday, Apache Mall donated $25,000 in hopes of helping more patients through this fund, which is the largest donation to date. “The one thing we heard again and again was do something to try and help our patients and their family members. There’s a lot of needs out there. This is really special when you think that Mayo Clinic is celebrating it’s 150th and what did we hear from our own staff? Find a way to help our patients,” Dr. Kerry Olsen Chair of the Sesquicentennial Committee said.
