ROCHESTER, Minn. – Authorities in Rochester have confirmed that a missing body found Thursday evening was a woman who they had been searching for.
Wednesday night, 53-year-old Dawn Ehert was last seen leaving a house after an argument with her boyfriend. Police were told by family members that Ehert contacted them, and said she was hiding near Silver Lake from people. Authorities searched the area Wednesday night but found the body Thursday. “We have not found any obvious indications of foul play. Our investigation is still ongoing, it’s early, but to this point there is no obvious signs of foul play,” Lt. Mike Sadauskis with the Rochester Police Department said.
Police believe they will not know the cause of her death until a full autopsy report is finished. They said that could take several weeks.
