Dayton stops in Rochester

ROCHESTER, Minn.- Governor Mark Dayton talked to two groups Friday morning in Rochester.

Governor Dayton spoke with members of the American Legion at the Mayo Civic Center before heading over to the Kahler Grand Hotel to talk to the American Legion Auxiliary. He told the women that they are very important to this country, and help out in many ways. “And, the services you provide are very much like the ones that other people are being encouraged and then trained to provide, so that we can support families when loved ones are away, and support families and loved ones when they return,” Governor Dayton said.

This was the 96th annual meeting for the Auxiliary.
