Not guilty plea in department store break-in

MASON CITY, Iowa – A Mason City man accused of breaking into a department store has pled not guilty.

In the early morning hours of June 14th, police officers were dispatched to the Sears store on the south side of Mason City.  Authorities say they found 22-year-old Daniel Rish Junior inside.  He’s been charged with third degree burglary, a class D felony, and possession of a controlled substance.

Rish has entered a written plea of not guilty to the charges against him.
