Peak alert issued for south Minnesota

PEAK ALERTS

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services and Heartland Power Cooperative have issued peak alerts for Monday.  They are asking members to refrain from any unnecessary electric power usage until after 7 pm, due to high demand for electricity.  Cooperative officials say delaying energy use will help keep costs low for members.
