Another hot day, another “peak alert”

ALBERT LEA, Minn. – Another “peak alert” has been issued by Freeborn-Mower Cooperative Services and Heartland Power Cooperative.  Both are asking members to avoid unnecessary electric power use until after 7 pm.  The alert has been issued due to high demands for electricity throughout the Midwest and officials say delaying power usage until the evening will keep costs low for cooperative members.
