ROCHESTER, Minn. – A building meant to help students get hands on experience in highly demanding fields will now be opening in 2016.
Wednesday afternoon officials with Rochester Public Schools, RCTC, and Winona State University held a news conference to give a construction update on the CTECH building. A total of seven different career paths could be chosen by students who attend CTECH and despite the delay in construction, those in charge are excited. “For example some of our engineering program is already happening here in Heintz Center it’s just with some remodeling of the space and reworking of the space. We will be able to take it to a different level of engineering in the future,” Jayne Gibson with Rochester Public Schools said.
Three programs will begin next year in the Heintz Center.
