ROCHESTER, Minn. – Police are on the lookout for three possible suspects after Wednesday night’s shooting in Rochester.
Authorities say the 20-year-old victim drove with two people to the Perkins parking lot to met two others for what police are calling a drug deal. At some point a suspect pulled a gun out during an altercation either inside the vehicle or outside and then one gunshot rang out. The victim was struck by a bullet in the chin area and required surgery but is expected to survive. The two suspects then took off and drove off in a vehicle that was already waiting for them. “We checked some locations where we believe they might have been last night, based upon past history, but were unable to find them,” Lt. Mike Sadauskis with the Rochester Police Department said.
Police believe they know the three suspects but have not been able to find them. They stress there is no danger to the public.
