IOWA/MINNESOTA – Two road closures begin Monday in south Minnesota and north Iowa.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says Interstate 90 between Stewartville and Eyota will be down to one lane as a 14 mile concrete repair project begins. This stretch of I-90 will have a width limit of 11 feet. The $1.9 million project is expected to be completed by October 31
In addition, The Mason City Engineering Department says South Grover Avenue, immediately south of the intersection with IA-122, will be closed for about two weeks. Eastbound traffic on IA-122 between South Taft and South Grover Avenues will also be reduced to one lane. Officials say both are due to the installation of two new water main segments.
