AUSTIN, Minn. – The three men arrested for what authorities are calling a multi-county theft ring have pled not guilty.
According to court records, 30-year-old John Charles Dehoff and 40-year-old Troy Arthur Leeper, both of Rochester, and 37-year-old Shane Thomas Rose of Brownsdale all entered not guilty pleas in Mower County District Court. Dehoff and Leeper are being held on $100,000 bond and Rose is being held on $250,000 bond.
Jury trials for all three men have been scheduled. Dehoff’s will be September 29th. Leeper’s is set for January 26th, 2015. Rose’s should be held on February 9th, 2015.
All three were arrested during a raid at a Brownsdale residence on July 26th of this year, after Mower County authorities received evidence from law enforcement in Mitchell County, Iowa. Thousands of dollars in stolen goods from at least 5 counties in Minnesota and Iowa were recovered in the raid.
