ST. PAUL, Minn. – Two people were injured in two separate accidents in south Minnesota Thursday.

The Minnesota State Patrol says around 2:45 pm, 72-year-old Lois M. Hillegonds of Dyer, Indiana was driving west on Interstate 90, just west of Interstate 35 in Freeborn County, when she had to merge into the right lane to avoid road construction.  Hillegonds was rear ended by the westbound vehicle driven by 29-year-old Matthew Lentsch of Stewart, MN.   Hillegonds suffered what is described as a non-life threatening injury and Lentsch was apparently unharmed.

The State Patrol also says that around 6:30 pm in Wabasha County, 32-year-old Jeremy S. Perry of Rochester was riding his motorcycle west on Highway 60 when he lost control.  He sustained what is described as a non-life threatening injury
