ALBERT LEA, Minn. – It was a heated race last night among three candidates running for Freeborn County Sheriff. Thousands of folks came out to vote. Now, it is narrowed down to two.
Current Sheriff Bob Kindler and Kurt Freitag will face each other in the November election, leaving Freeborn County Deputy, Dale Glazier ruled out.
Bob Kindler – 1253 – 32.65%
Kurt Freitag – 1454 – 37.88%

Glazier recently returned from an eight week paid administrative leave after being cleared of an allegation. However, he says he is not letting this loss get in his way of doing what he loves.
“We ran a good, honest, and clean campaign. I’m proud of what we’ve done. I will just go to work and continue on. I love what I do, and I’m going to continue to do my job as a deputy,” says Glazier.
