CORALVILLE, Iowa (AP) — Iowa police say a Coralville man ran over another man in a parking lot, and left the scene.

Coralville Police say they’ve charged 20-year-old Misael Martinez-Mendiola with leaving the scene of an accident and driving with a revoked license.

Witnesses told police that Martinez-Mendiola backed his vehicle over the victim, breaking his leg. They say he drove away from the scene at a high rate of speed. It’s unclear if the victim was hospitalized.

Police arrested Martinez-Mendiola Wednesday. He’s being held at the Johnson County Jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond.

Online jail records didn’t indicate an attorney for Martinez-Mendiola.
