ST. PAUL, Minn. — Authorities are working to spread the picture of a man believed to be responsible for a Mason City native’s murder in the Twin Cities.
On August 11, Kelly Phillips was shot three times and killed outside an Arden Hills gas station. Investigators believe his former business partner, Lyle “Ty” Hoffman, was responsible. He still hasn’t been found.
On Thursday authorities issued a new wanted poster for Hoffman, and point to a $10,000 reward offered by Crime Stoppers. They are following leads that Hoffman may have fled the state and may be anywhere in the country.
Information and tips can be directed to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
Phillips was laid to rest in Mason City on Saturday.
