Shahid Jamal, 39, contacted an undercover officer who was pretending to be underage. Jamal, a Rochester resident, has been charged with engaging in prostitution with someone under the age of 18.

“Law enforcement agencies have been, and continue to be, pretty active in doing these sporadic arrest stings to continue to make a point that we don’t permit, we don’t allow [this] in our community,” Olmsted County Attorney Mark Ostrem said.
