ROCKEWELL, Iowa – A local grocery store has had a number of break-ins over the past 15 years, unfortunately, yet one more break-in happened to them again this week.
Owner Tony Laudner of Dugan’s Supermarket in Rockwell says he’s had enough. He was in the process of trying to finish a list of what was taken from Wednesday night’s burglary when we spoke to him. Laudner says his business has been broken into eleven times in the past 15 years. He tells us typically he’s missing a lot of cigarettes and alcohol. As anyone could imagine, Laudner says he’s very frustrated with the whole situation.
“Not again! That was the first thing that went through my head. It just continually keeps happening, and I don’t really understand why in Rockwell stuff like this keeps happening,” said Laudner.
Laudner got the call that an alarm was going off at his store at 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.
