OSAGE, Iowa – A Minnesota man will be tried in Iowa for his alleged role in a large theft ring that operated in both states.
33-year-old Samuel Zambrano Ramirez of Claremont, MN is charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit a non-forcible felony. His trial is scheduled to begin October 29th in Mitchell County District Court.
Ramirez was charged along with three other Minnesota men after authorities in July uncovered thousands of dollars in stolen items at a residence in Brownsdale, MN. Law enforcement also says it has video evidence of Ramirez and a co-conspirator removing property from a home in St. Ansgar, Iowa.
In addition to Ramirez, charges in this case have been filed in Mower County, MN against 34-year-old Shane Thomas Rose, 40-year-old Troy Arthur Leeper and 30-year-old John Charles Dehoff.
