ROCHESTER, Minn. – After yet another gun incident, Rochester Police are increasing their patrols of a southeastern neighborhood.
Authorities say they were called out to the 500 block of 14th Street SE Wednesday on a report of a man chasing down someone while holding a gun. Despite not finding a suspect or a gun, officials say this is the third gun incident in the neighborhood this summer. “I think when you have gun incidents a lot of times, especially the groups of people we are talking about potentially involved, you have chances of retaliation or more incidents. It feeds on itself,” Lt. Mike Sadauskis with the Rochester Police Department said.
Two earlier incidents this summer have been shootings, but no one was hurt.
