GARNER, Iowa – A day after presidential candidate Donald Trump stopped in the state, Lt Gov. Kim Reynolds is in North Iowa explaining why women should support Trump in his campaign.
Reynolds explains that Trump’s child care plan is one women should rally behind. She says Trump recognizes that child care is a major expense for families all across the country. Reynolds also stressed his plan to run our country is one everyone should be on board with.
“Women and Iowans, Americans are concerned about the economy, concerned about jobs, concerned about safety and what I like about Trump is he’s got innovative ideas,” Reynolds said.
Iowa’s Speaker of the House Linda Upmeyer of Clear Lake was also present to support women for Trump.
Dana Delany, an actress from Desperate Housewives, was in Mason City to stump for Hillary Clinton on Monday.
