CLEAR LAKE, Iowa – Coffee beans aren’t only for coffee anymore.
Brad Barber, owner of Cabin Coffee Company, couldn’t be more excited. Cabin Coffee’s coffee beans are becoming a beer ingredient for Breckenridge Brewery. Located in Colorado, the brew company is using those beans in a nitro pumpkin spice latte stout. 800 pounds of coffee beans have been sold. Barber shared a few words of encouragement for those who hope to create or grow their business.
“So many times people dream way too small, and why not dream big and aspire for those dreams? Then on our end it’s all about the relationships, developing those relationships, gaining their trust, gaining their confidence,” Barber said.
When asked what beans are being used, Barber says now that’s a secret.
The beer is available in 38 states, including Iowa and Minnesota.
