AUSTIN, Minn. – A Mower County woman is pleading not guilty to drug charges.
34-year-old Amanda Jo Hanson and 30-year-old Joseph Perry White, both of Austin, were arrested on August 30 after police searched a residence in the 1600 block of East Oakland Avenue. Officers say they found small amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana at the location, along with three children who were placed in foster care after Hanson and White were taken into custody.
Hanson entered not guilty pleas Thursday to 5th degree drug possession, storing meth paraphernalia in the home of a child and misdemeanor marijuana possession. She is set to stand trial on April 3, 2017.
White has yet to enter a plea to the same crimes.
