ROCHESTER, Minn. – A man wanted in Illinois has been sentenced in Olmsted County.
45-year-old Roland Ned Outlaw of Rochester was charged with 2nd degree assault, stalking with intent to injure and tampering with a witness after an incident on May 25 where he allegedly pulled a knife on a woman. She got away, but authorities said Outlaw later tried to contact her.
Outlaw eventually entered a guilty plea to stalking and has been sentenced to 180 days in the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center, with credit for 96 days already served.
Rochester police say their investigation also found that Outlaw is wanted on an attempted murder charge in Illinois.
