MASON CITY, Iowa – Jacob Krueger is the last candidate eyeing the at-large seat to be asked three questions in three minutes.
Krueger is looking for more family-oriented businesses to move to town. He feels it’s necessary if Mason City wants the younger generation to make the community, home. “I’ve been a business owner for about 10 years, so being self-employed has its challenges, so I think those transfer over to city politics and everything,” Krueger said.
This is Krueger’s first time running for council.
The special election is on Tuesday.
