First sentence handed out to Rochester drug couple

ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Wabasha County man has been sentenced for an Olmsted County drug crime.

On Monday, 32-year-old Tyler John Clink of Mazeppa received 39 months in prison for pleading guilty to 3rd degree possession of a controlled substance.  He will receive credit for eight days already served.

Clink and 31-year-old Brittany Ball of Rochester were arrested on January 6 after a search at Parkside Mobile Home Park in Rochester uncovered methamphetamine, marijuana, thousands of dollars in cash and a pistol.

Ball is pleading guilty to 2nd degree controlled substance crime and possession of a firearm or ammunition after being found guilty of a crime of violence.  She will be sentenced on September 26 in Olmsted County District Court.
