ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Wisconsin man is now facing two drug trials in Olmsted County.
23-year-old Jose Noe Aguilera of Baraboo, WI, was arrested on April 15 and charged with 1st degree sale of drugs and 1st degree drug possession. He was then arrested on August 19 and charged again with 1st degree sale of drugs and 1st degree drug possession.
In the April incident, a Rochester police officer noticed Aguilera sitting in a car in Silver Lake Park. There was a warrant out for his arrest and when officers searched the car, they say they found 112 grams of marijuana and 311 grams of methamphetamine. The driver of the vehicle. 21-year-old Brandon Villagrana Urista of Rochester, was also charged with 1st degree sale of drugs and 1st degree drug possession.
In August, Rochester law enforcement said it received information about drugs coming from California that led them to a hotel room where they seized two pounds of meth. They also arrested Aguilera and 22-year-old Adrian Terrones of San Pedro, California. Terrones has also been charged with 1st degree sale of drugs and 1st degree drug possession.
Aguilera is pleading not guilty. He is scheduled to stand trial for the April arrest on November 21 and trial for the August arrest is set for January 23.
Urista is pleading not guilty and will stand trial on October 10.
Terrones has not yet entered a plea.
