ALBERT LEA, Minn.- A workshop to help those with a disability learn how to vote is happening Wednesday night in Albert Lea.
The Arc of Freeborn County is hosting the Minnesota Disability Law Center.
It’s a way for those who live with a disability to understand their right to vote and the process of registering.
They’ll have mock election sheets as well so people can practice.
“It’s really a chance to have their voices heard and they’ll pick somebody that they think is important and exercise that right and feel good that they’ve done it,” said Jo Lowe, Program Director, The Arc of Freeborn County.
The workshop starts at 6:30 at the Skyline Plaza. The public is welcome to attend.
