Mini library program expands

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The success of reading continues in Olmsted County.

The Rochester Public Library says over the summer they added 24 mini libraries in Olmsted County including places in Byron, Shell Rock, and Oronoco. That now brings the total amount in the county to over 150, which officials say is outstanding. Karen Lemke with the library tells us people are happy with the libraries too. In fact, 90% of the library owners surveyed say they’ve seen a positive impact in their neighborhood.
