ALBERT LEA, Minn. – The city of Albert Lea and Freeborn County officials are reminding residents that they will accept flood-damaged items at the Transfer Station through Monday.
You must contact Jody Larson at 507-373-3965 or email@example.com before bringing items to the station. Provide your name, address, phone number, number of occupants in the home, what was damaged, how it was damaged and the approximate value. This information will aid Freeborn County is assessing the individual damages that were incurred.
The station, located at the intersection of County Road 101 and County Road 20, is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Monday.
The city of Albert Lea Fire and Inspections Department will continue inspections into next week. The Inspection Department will begin contacting those who have signed up with Freeborn County on Monday.
