ROCHESTER, Minn. – The former and potentially future first daughter appeared in Rochester on Monday to stump for her mom.
In front of a packed room at Bleu Duck Kitchen, Chelsea Clinton talked to residents on why they should be voting for her mother, Hillary. Chelsea says there is nobody else she want’s running this country, especially for future generations.”I didn’t know I could care anymore about politics until I was blessed to become a parent and found that I could, found everything I cared about before just has a sharper intensity,” she said. Clinton spoke about her mother’s values and how programs like The Affordable Care Act are so important for many citizens. Chelsea did mention Sunday night’s debate and how her mother had flushed out plans but it seemed Donald Trump didn’t.
We spoke to a mother outside of the event she tells us this is her first rally and that it was beneficial.”I feel like I got a better maybe a better understanding of things. I really loved that she was so well-spoken about what her mom’s plans are,” Brandy Wilker of Owatonna said.
