AUSTIN, Minn. – A program is helping teachers in our area understand the importance of using it in their classrooms.
It’s the second annual “Teachnology” Program class for teachers at Austin High School.
Organizers are hoping that these educators understand that different uses of technology in the classroom benefit students.
They also want to make sure students are learning the proper way to use technology both in and out of the classroom.
“As we move forward into technology integration at Austin High School and the world in general, we need to make sure students are getting instruction that uses technology appropriately and resourcefully in their classroom,” said Amy Thuesen, technology integration coach at AHS.
Teachers don’t have to attend the weekly class, but they must go to two of them per semester.
