Probation for hidden heroin

ROCHESTER, Minn. – A man found with drugs when he was booked into the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center is getting probation.

25-year-old Tyler James Borchardt of Shakopee entered a guilty plea in May to 5th degree drug possession.  After his arrest on outstanding traffic warrants, authorities say they discovered 1.3 grams of heroin in a “hidden part of his body” when they brought him to the jail.

Borchardt has been given 10 years of supervised probation and ordered to perform 75 hours of community service or pay a $750 find.
