The most important touchdown of the season

Hayden Despenas loves football.  One of his favorite stories involves scoring the first touchdown of the season a couple of years ago when he was playing flag football.

But now Despenas is forced to watch from the sidelines.  In 2012, Hayden was diagnosed with a rare form of muscular dystrophy and now he has to watch his teammates from a wheelchair.

He loves being part of the team and on Thursday he got to be part of the game.  During the junior high match-up with Clear Lake, Despenas lined up at running back and took a handoff all the way for a touchdown!

Following the game, he was presented with an autographed game ball.
