ROCHESTER, Minn. – The expansion of health care in our area continued on Monday.
Mayo Clinic officially broke ground, or rather broke a wall, in their $30 million project for the Jacobson Building. We are told the money will add more than a dozen surgical rooms which will have the latest tech, including some robots. Mayo also says they will be able to perform many surgeries in this new area, including urology and general.
Construction is slated to take about a year with patients possibly being seen in late 2017.
