MASON CITY, Iowa – A traffic stop in Cerro Gordo County has resulted in a guilty plea and a charge being dismissed.
52-year-old Brendy Bernadette Reuter and 39-year-old Tasha Louise Coty, both of Mason City, were arrested on September 2 after a Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s deputy stopped their vehicle at the intersection of Highway 18 and Highway 65.
Coty was arrested on a warrant for probation violation for a drug conviction in April, 2016. She was also charged with possession of a methamphetamine pipe. That charge has now been dismissed.
Reuter was charged with possession of methamphetamine, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and operating a motor vehicle under the influence. She has entered a guilty plea and will be sentenced on November 7.
