Mason City man pleads not guilty to bicycle theft

MASON CITY, Iowa – A man arrested during a stolen bicycles investigation is pleading not guilty.

35-year-old Ryan David Ihde of Mason City was arrested September 29 and charged with 2nd degree theft.  Authorities searched Ihde’s apartment on South Pennsylvania Avenue on September 15 and say they found over $2,000 worth of bicycles stolen in Mason City and Ames.

Ihde is also charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia for items police say they found during the search of his apartment and on his person when he was arrested.

His trial is set for November 22.
