ROCHESTER, Minn. – Those at a local Sheriff’s Office are hoping some hot coffee will bring our communities closer together.
On Thursday, the first “Be on the Lookout for Coffee with a Deputy” or BOLO, started with the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office. The idea is to every once and a while go to a local coffee shop or bakery so people in the community can stop by, have a cup of coffee and talk about whatever they want with authorities. Officials hope this will increase community engagement.
You may remember the Mason City Police Department did a similar event a couple of weeks ago for National Coffee with a Cop Day.
