ROCHESTER, Minn. – There’s a second guilty plea in the beating of a cab driver.
22-year-old Tadros Yernio Deng of Rochester is pleading guilty to 5th degree assault and was sentenced Thursday to two years of supervised probation and ordered to do 70 hours of community service or pay a $700 fine.
Deng and Akolda Manyang were arrested for punching a cab driver on June 8. Manyang previously pled guilty to 5th degree assault and gross misdemeanor stalking with intent to injure. He was given two years of probation and 20 hours of community service or a $200 fine.
