ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Destination Medical Center is slated to bring around 40,000 jobs to the Rochester area over the next two decades and really become an economic boost to the area. On Thursday, those in charge of leading the way for DMC got to hear about two new possible developments in the works.
The first would be a mixed-use apartment complex with 156 units inside. It would be constructed over the US Bank parking lot around South Broadway. The other is scheduled to be a hotel and residential building. This project would be built on the current Days Inn site.
We are told the group also talked about transportation and a $100 million development project slated to happen near Saint Mary’s Hospital.
