ROCHESTER, Minn. – Some local students were able to put down their pencils on Friday in order to get quite the experience.
Third graders at Bamber Valley Elementary School in Rochester were able to Skype with a NASA employee who works with the International Space Station. It’s all part of their goal to learn more about space and planets. During the talk, students got to learn more about the ISS and why it’s so important globally. Also, we were able to find out the ISS moves at more than 170,000 miles per hour.
