Bill of Rights Plaque

MASON CITY, Iowa – A local courthouse will now have another important piece to display on their walls, thanks to a generous donor.

The Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors had a special guest at their regular meeting.

Roger Paulson donated a Bill Of Rights plaque to be placed in the courthouse.

There is already a Bills Of Rights located in the courthouse, but the new plaque will be a smaller size.

“Well, I think all citizens need to be reminded of the Bill of Rights and what the country was founded on and I think anytime it can be displayed in a prominent location here or in any public building is a good thing,” says Jay Urdahl, Cerro Gordo County District 1 Supervisor.
