PRESTON, Minn. – A man arrested after a dangerous police chase is now pleading guilty.
20-year-old Dylan Cantrell Bathke of Rush City entered a guilty plea Tuesday to motor vehicle theft and terroristic threats. He was taken into custody on June 16 in Fillmore County after a reported attempt to return some stolen property wound up in a chase where a police vehicle was allegedly rammed.
Bathke was originally charged with 10 counts, including two counts of 2nd degree assault and additional charges of theft and terroristic threats.
He will be sentenced on February 6.
After his arrest, Bathke escaped from the Fillmore County Jail on July 6 and was recaptured in Rochester.
