CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – A Mason City man is now facing a federal drug charge.
25-year-old Seth Dean Carolus was arrested on August 11 after a traffic stop. He was taken into custody on a warrant for a parole violation and allegedly had five or more grams of methamphetamine in his possession.
Local charges have now been dismissed in the case and Carolus is facing one federal count of possession with intent to distribute meth. His jury trial is scheduled for December 27 in Cedar Rapids Federal Court.
