Iowans hurt in southern Minnesota rollover

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Five Iowans were hurt in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday night in southern Minnesota.

The State Patrol says it happened around 8:12 pm on Highway 15 in Martin County.  32-year-old Erin A. Demoney of Estherville was driving an SUV south when the vehicle went onto the rumble strips and then over the center line, before jerking back into the southbound lane and rolling.

Demoney and four child passengers from Estherville, 11-year-old Nicholas J. Demoney, 4-year-old Isabelle I. Demoney, 4-year-old Cameron M. Dahl and infant Elise N. Demoney, all suffered what are described as non-life threatening injuries.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Fairmont Police Department and Gold Cross and Truman ambulance all assisted at the scene.
