KIMT News 3 – Wednesday’s 2016 election coverage has us taking a look at the three eyeing the Worth County Sheriff seat.
Sheriff Jay Langenbau, former Worth County Chief Deputy Dan Fank, and Forest City Police Officer Mark Wubben. They answered questions in regards to how they plan to keep law enforcement in a positive light, what changes need to be made in the county if Sheriff, and why they’re the best candidate.
“The last eight years I have proven that I have good leadership with the office, people in Worth County,” Sheriff Jay Langenbau said.
“I feel my biggest thing is I take a lot of pride in the department and my idea is to put the citizens of Worth County first,” Candidate Dan Fank said.
“I think a lot of if it starts with the drive. Why somebody wants to be sheriff, it’s not a status thing. I want to help the citizens of the county, want to help the employees at the sheriff’s office,” Candidate Mark Wubben said.
