Complaint to be filed in Olmsted County regarding absentee voting irregularities

OLMSTED CO, Minn. – Olmsted County’s GOP chairman has confirmed that the party will file a complaint about irregularities in absentee voting within the county.

Chairman Aaron Miller said a former county employee is accusing election officials of cutting corners in the process.

“It was reported to us that there were some significant voter irregularities in the early voting and absentee voting, and we’ve made notice — we will look into that and kind of get to the bottom of it — sounds like some of the protocols were not followed,” Miller said.

An election official tells us they haven’t been made aware of these claims and stresses that all procedures were followed.
