ROCHESTER, Minn. – A man arrested after a report of shots fired is pleading guilty.
22-year-old Daijoun Shakari Johnson of Rochester was arrested on March 13 after an incident in the area of 950 16th Avenue Southeast. Witnesses reported shots being fired and described a vehicle involved, which was soon located by Rochester police. Johnson allegedly ran out of the car and into a house.
He was charged after authorities found a semi-automatic handgun in the home’s ceiling.
Johnson has entered a guilty plea to possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence. His sentencing is set for January 18.
