ROCHESTER, Minn. – A southeastern Minnesota teen gets time served for reckless driving.
18-year-old Nicholas Michael Douglas of Houston was arrested on May 28 after allegedly leading law enforcement on a chase through Byron. He entered a guilty plea to reckless driving in September and was sentenced Monday to 67 days in the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center.
However, Douglas was given credit for 67 days already served.
Reckless driving is a misdemeanor. A felony charge of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle was dismissed.
