SUV collides with semi in Fillmore County

ST. PAUL, Minn. – A northeast Iowan was hurt in a two-vehicle accident early Monday morning in southeastern Minnesota.

The State Patrol says the crash happened around 3:10 am on Highway 52 in Fillmore County.  40-year-old Darryl C. Muggli-Toyloy of Decorah, IA, was driving an SUV south and crossed the center line, colliding with a northbound semi driven by 62-year-old Larry J. Lapean of Hudson, Wisconsin.

Both drivers suffered what are described as non-life threatening injuries.  The accident happened about one mile east of Harmony.  The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
