UPDATE: Names released in Dodge County auto accident


DODGE CO. Minn. – Two people were injured after a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says Robert O’Brien was driving a pickup truck west on County Road 6 and David Johnson was driving a car north on County Road 15.  Johnson apparently drove through a stop sign and crashed into O’Brien at the intersection.

The truck rolled over into the ditch and then back onto the road.

O’Brien and a passenger, Linda Fjerstad, were transported to St. Mary’s emergency room for further evaluation of non-life threatening injuries.

Johnson was evaluated at the scene and was taken for any medical treatment.  The Sheriff’s Office says charges are pending against Johnson.

This accident happened around 2:30 pm.

DODGE COUNTY, Minn. – Law enforcement is responding to an apparent traffic accident.

Authorities are at the intersection of County Road 15 and County Road 6 in Dodge County.  An ambulance has been spotted at the scene.  Mayo One arrived at the location but left without taking anyone aboard.  There are no reports of serious injuries.

No other details are available but KIMT has a reporter covering this incident.
