MASON CITY, Iowa- A million dollar job to renovate a vacant Iowa DOT building into an urgent care facility is underway in Mason City.
On Wednesday, Husna Khan, the owner of the “Quick Care Medical Clinic” answered questions from the public about the new facility.
They say plans for their new facility have been in the works for the last couple of years and Mason City is in need of a service like this.
“After doing our market research, we felt there was a great need in this community,” says Kahn. “We think this is a great opportunity and the public is in need.”
They hope to be able to open the new facility located on Fourth Street by next spring.
